Balloon RacesTime & Place: At Dawn on a Saturday morning, the beginning of the annual Balloon race at the North las Vegas Airport. It was so quiet, only the sounds of the flames shooting from the burners of each majestic balloon as they lifted off for their gracious, silent flights. Sailing gallantly over the sleeping Vegas valley, normally known only for it’s colorful neon and noisy night life, it was magic.
