The Flamingo Hotel is one of the few old Vegas hotels that have not been imploded. Opened December 26, 1946 and billed as "The West's Greatest Resort Hotel". The 105-room property and first luxury hotel on the strip, was built seven miles from Downtown Las Vegas and as been known for the involvement of the notorious Bugsy Siegel in it's early days.
